The telemedicnie unit at the Walter Sisulu University (WSU) is operating a regional telemedicine network for the Eastern Cape province in South Africa. The unit has a long experience with video conferecing and is now also using iPath for tele-consultations in dermatology, pathology and HIV/AIDS related issues.
