Seed money up to CHF 15’000 per project can be spent for:
- Feasability studies and joint planning meetings
- Establishment of a project draft
- Travel of project partners
All seed money proposals will undergo peer-review with regard to relevance, scientific merit and potential of mid- to longterm partnership
Conditions
- Equal partnership between partners from North and South (according to the 11 principles laid down in the KFPE guidelines)
- Make use of indiviual strength
- Win-win situation for all partners
- Common funding; a major part of project funds should be invested in the South
Time Frame
- Deadline to submit proposals: October 1, 2005
- Evaluation by Peers: December 1, 2005
- Communication of Decision: January 10, 2006
The proposal should include:
- project description (max 5 pages)
- statement of commitments of partners from the South
- CV’s of principal investigators from North and South
- Budget outline
