The International Society for Telemedicine and eHealth (ISfTeH) is organizing this Conference in conjunction with the Medical Research Council of South Africa (MRC) - Technology & Business Development Directorate, Telemedicine Lead Program.
Emphasis will be on Developing Countries and therefore, we also expect many participants from the African, Asian and South American continents.
This conference will investigate e-Health issues relating to both the developed and developing world, with the goal of finding solutions that will be appropriate for both closing the digital divide and redressing the inequalities in healthcare between the developed and developing worlds. Abstracts are solicited in the following thematic areas, but relevant papers dealing with subjects outside these areas will also be considered.

The scientific committee invites submissions of abstracts for oral and poster presentations. The abstract submission deadline is 18 August 2006. No abstracts will be accepted after this date.
